  Great food. You get what you paid for. Worth the wait. Love their chuck wagon sandwich! The meat overlaps the bun! They also have delicious shakes! I love this little place! And in my opinion, anyone who is a big fan of diners would love it too.

  We order 2 burgers 2 orders of fries (1/2 orders is what we got really) and 1 drink and it came out to about $14. After we ordered in the drive thru, we waited a good 20 minutes for our food but most of that time was waiting behind someone who had been waiting there for their food before we ever pulled up and took a while looking at the menu. When we finally got our food it was passed through a window that 2 men were sitting in front of inside the dining room. I don't know if there was a table there, but the men had to stop talking so the girl could squeeze between them and pass out our food. It was very strange. The service was good, the food wasn't bad, and it was definitely hot, but the orders of fries were basically only a small handful each. I wasn't completely disappointed but wasn't impressed either.

  Nice people, descent food, but imo it is pricey for the food.

  I've lived in Owensboro for almost 15 years but I visited Gary's for the first time recently. Staff is very friendly, menu has lots of options. I can vouch that their cheeseburgers and onion rings are delicious! If you carry out, opt for at least the large drink, as the medium wasn't quite enough for my meal. I work close by so I'm sure I'll head there for lunch a lot more frequently now!

  This tiny diner is a jem!! Great atmosphere, clean environment.A pretty peaceful area. Great food, at the right price. Friendly staff.
